What is Assessed
A typical neuropsychological evaluation of a child may assess the following
as needed:

Executive skills such as organization,
planning, response inhibition, flexibility, generative ability, and working
memory

Attention including sustained attention,
selective attention, attentional set shifting, divided attention, and dichotic
listening

Language basics, including phonological
awareness, semantic and pragmatic aspects, and language syntax

Verbal and Non-verbal Memory

Behavioral and emotional functioning

Social Skills

Achievement including reading, written
language, and math
